QA Lead

PlayerMaker is the ultimate performance insight product for football teams. We are a growing start-up located in Tel Aviv (6 min walk from the train).

We have a young and amazing work atmosphere and we are looking for passionate and creative people who like to work as a team and are good at making things happen. We are now looking for a hands-on QA Team Leader to join our super talented software department. The Qa Team Leader will lead our QA team and will be responsible for all quality matters in the company. This person will report directly to our Head of Software Development.

Responsibilities include:

  •  Aim for no regression or production issues by all means.
  •  Manage a team of 4 QA engineers on all professional aspects, both local and offshore (Set clear KPIs, Oversee day-to-day operation and performance).
  •  Build and train the team to work with the latest methods to ensure high quality for the company's products.
  •  Manage Testing Schedules and Deadlines in multiple teams: Code Freeze, Dev, and Production Deploy, Beta Teams and Sessions, Tier 3 Support.
  •  Build automation framework.
  •  Play an active role in software testing 50% hands-on writing and reviewing features STP & STD.
  •  Meeting tight deadlines with a cool head and strategic thinking.

Job Requirements :

  •  Excellent attention to detail.
  •  Previous experience of at least 2 years leading QA developers.
  •  A minimum of 4 years of experience doing hands-on QA Web and Mobile (B2C applications)
  •  You need to be dedicated, independent, a team player, and an owner in your area of responsibility.
  •  Experience in Agile development, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and coding for automated testing.
  •  Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills both in Hebrew and in English.
  •  Past Experience working and testing relational database (MySql) and REST APIs.

Advantages:

  •  Worked and tests IoT solutions (that involve FW / HW / Machine Learning)
  •  B.Sc in Computer Science or equivalent background from technological army units.
  •  Automation development experience.
  •  Used Cloud Alerts & Monitoring tools (on AWS or other platforms like NewRelic)

Social & Community Manager

PlayerMaker is the ultimate performance insight product for football teams. We are a growing start-up located in Tel Aviv (6 min walk from the train). We have a young and amazing work atmosphere and we are looking for passionate and creative people who like to work as a team and are good at making things happen. We are looking for a Social and Community Manager to join our team! This person will be responsible for developing, leading, and executing a global community strategy that inspires deeper relationships, brand affinity, and advocacy among athletes and coaches with Playermaker.

This role is critical to building an outstanding community where all Playermaker users and prospects can engage, develop, and thrive through networking, sharing performance insights, and getting answers to questions. This position will be reporting directly to the CMO, working in partnership with the Product, Sales, Customer Success/Support, and Marketing teams to engage the Playermaker community and drive business impact.

 Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute daily social media activities across all social media channels. Engaging and growing communities, understanding target audiences, and how to engage with different audiences across different channels and country markets.
  •  Represent Playermaker in the football/soccer community to help build a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive community environment for members from a variety of backgrounds (Youth/Adults/recreational/Professional players, parents, and coaches)
  •  Build and execute a growth plan to increase our followers and social presence on all social media channels.
  •  Obtain feedback and gather ideas from the community through real conversations
  •  Focus on the community's needs, and make sure we’re creating experiences that meet those needs
  •  Actively interact with people who comment on our channels and best represent Playermaker.
  •  Help plan and execute community events, both virtual and in-person, throughout the year

Requirements:

  •  3+ years of proven experience in managing social media channels for B2C businesses
  •  Successfully grow a customer community, both in number of community members and their engagement in the community
  •  Experience with leading and scaling community programs, platforms, and tools
  •  Excellent communication skills with high emotional intelligence to understand and empathize with audiences, understand their needs, and deliver results that meet those needs
  •  Experience working in fast-paced environments, innovate and adapt to changing situations
  •  Passion for sports
